SOP Photographer of the Year 2008 Competition

It`s time to announce the new competition for 2008.

The overall winner of the grand final prize
"School of Photography.com Photographer of the Year 2008" will be the entrant with the most points accumulated from the five competitions.
The winner receives a massive Western Digital My Book 2 Home Edition 1TerraBytes USB 2.0 Firewire & eSata External Hard Drive to store your digital images and an Epson Stylus Photo RX685 5760X1440DPI 6.3CM LCD USB printer to print all those digital images for display....

You can enter just one, two or all five rounds. However, to improve your chance of winning the title and grand prize, you should enter each round.

In addition to the top prize at the end of the year there are also prizes for the top three winning entries in each theme.

1st Prize Winners will receive a USD$75.00 Amazon gift Certificate
2nd Prize Winners will receive a USD$40.00 Amazon gift Certificate
3rd Prize Winners will receive a USD$25.00 Amazon gift Certificate.

The Themes

There are a total of five competitions run over the course of the year. Here are the themes and closing dates for each. This year`s themes will be on the elements, the first however is open to any image

Round 1: Open. Closed

Round 2: Water. May 31st 2008

Round 3: Fire. July 31st 2008

Round 4: Earth. September 30th 2008

Round 5: Air. November 30th 2008
